Lilly is a very sweet 1 year old pup. Although a fence is not required for Lilly, she is used to having access to one by way of a dog door so that needs to be taken in consideration. She loves to play with other dogs, loves children, and loves her squeaky toys! She is a very active and strong pup, so would do very well in a home with other dogs to play with, or with an active person or family who can provide exercise and activity for her. She is submissive to other dogs in the home, and seems like she would love to be a lap (or couch) dog! Lilly is house-trained and is learning to walk better on leash.
All we know about her heritage is that her Mom was a "Little Lassie" that was killed in a car accident when she was 3.5 weeks old. She and her siblings came into Rescue shortly after, so they have never been in a Shelter or Breeder type environment. They have always been in a loving home. We have no idea who her Dad was, but we are guessing she may have a bit of Boxer/Catahoula in her based on her looks and personality. She was the only one in the litter that had short hair.. but her coloring is beautiful.

Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not have a shelter. Our dogs are safely housed in foster homes all around the state.
Please note, Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not do out-of-state adoptions, and a barrier type fenced yard (not Invisible Fencing) is only type fence recommended.
