Reunion 2009 Invitation -- Sunday October 25th, 2009
The Sheltie Rescue of Georgia, Inc. cordially invites you to our 12th Annual Rescue Reunion and Halloween Potluck on Sunday, October 25, 2009.
Activities this year include a dog Halloween costume contest, a silent auction, a raffle for a homemade quilt, a microchipping clinic, obedience tricks and training, simple peticures, a photographer, and of course food! All former and future adopters are welcome to come and show off their rescued companions and to meet others that are available. Please make plans to attend.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
New Officers 2009 -- Friday January 30th, 2009
The volunteers of Sheltie Rescue of Georgia (SRGA) got together for our annual meeting on January 30, 2009. We elected a new Board of Directors. They are as follows:
President - Jeanel Wehrner,
VP - Kent Gorton,
Secretary - Alina Flores, and
Treasurer - Kathy Greene.
We additionally have two advisors upon who the officers can call when needed.

Reunion 2008 Follow-Up -- Sunday November 9th, 2008
The 2008 SRGA Rescue Reunion was a resounding success. We had over 30 people in attendance and raised nearly $2000, a modern record! A ton of items were donated for the silent auction, some of which were larger ticket items that did not get bids and will be put on eBay to raise additional funds. Beth Leonard, one of our foster moms, donated a handmade lap quilt that we raffled off. Our president, Esther Jenkins, got to take it home. The new notecards were debuted at the reunion as well. They will be available from our store shortly. Another of our volunteers, Nanette Johnson, did a grooming demo for us. It was so well received, we've decided to dedicate another get together for another one in the Spring. Stay tuned for the date. We hope to see more folks come out for next year's reunion! Should be a lot of fun!!
