Description: 12/19/24. Ben is still available. He does have "Stranger Danger" and will need a home with Sheltie experience and great training skills. He is a loving boy, but he's rambunctious. Obviously not suited for apartment life. He needs a very active family who will give him lots of exercise.

Ben is a sweet boy who loves the outdoors. He walks well on leash, and rides well in the car. Of course we would never leave them our unattended, he likes to find the cool shade and chill in the yard. Therefore we are working on our recall. He is food motivated and smart, but sometimes does not want to come out from under the bushes, which gives his foster mom a heart attack. Manners and basic commands are going to be needed. He loves to be pet and sit with you. He has not been cat or kid tested.

Description: Update 12/19/24. Jackie Jack loves to play with his dog friends, but is leary of people. If you sit on the ground, he will come to you for pets. When you stand, he freaks our and runs away. Delete the ZERO recall from the previous entry. He now will come when you say "HERE!" (but you better have a treat to reinforce this good behavior!)
Cracker Jack (we call him Jackie Jack) and his friends were surrendered by an owner who didn't have time for all the dogs they were breeding.
He is very shy especially with strangers. He has ZERO recall, so we keep him on leash in the yard. He has gotten to where he loves walks and following his foster parents in the yard. There are signs of his previous life where he wasn't properly trained or simply ignored. He has strong verbal reactions to many common everyday items (sweeping, squirt bottles, aluminum foil) and occurrences (people walking by, loud trucks.). His foster parents are working on desensit...

Description: Update 12/19/24 Pinky is doing well in treatment. We will have a final check in February and hopefully he will be clear and ready for adoption. This update will be changed to adoption (will all good luck) and he will be described as a healthy young man with lots of energy.
4/16/2024. Pinky is a 1.6 year old Sheltie. He is the third of the litter surrendered together. Unfortunately he is Heartworm positive.
We are seeking funds to help with the cost of his treatment.
