Hutch was given to animal control by his owner, so we have no history. He has adapted to his foster home quite well. Although came in with Starsky, he doesn't much care for him. In fact, Hutch would like to be an only dog.
Hutch is more of a high energy dog. He is constantly in motion and follows his foster family around the house. We call him a velcro dog. He will take his afternoon nap, as long as he is crated or you are still. But if you get up, he faithfully follows. He loves his foster people and will lick your feet. Yes - he stops if you are not into that.
In the yard, Hutch will chase a ball, but doesn't see the need to bring it back. He walks well on leash, rides well in the car, and will warn you of danger by barking. Doorbells are dangerous. Loud noises are dangerous. Other than that, he is generally quiet. He will come when you whistle.
Hutch is crate trained house broken. He is SMART! Gorgeous, unique blond coat, and a touch of merle with a little blue in his right eye. He drools a bit, but the vet says there is no medical reason. Hutch would prefer a quiet home with NO DOGS and NO CHILDREN.
Weight 25 pounds, DOB est. 2014
Hutch has been neutered. He is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. Results are normal from his wellness blood work. His adoption fee is $375.
