4 year old male Sable and White colored Sheltie

Mufasa (we call him Fozzy Bear) and his friends were surrendered by an owner who didn't have time for all the dogs they were breeding. When we got him, he was a mess:  HW positive, fleas, ticks, injuries from dog fights, and not neutered.  In the 7 months we have had him, he is cured of the heart worms,, playful with other dogs and loves being close to his foster parents.

There are signs of his previous life where he wasn't properly trained or simply ignored.  He has strong verbal reactions to many common everyday items.  His foster parents are working on desensitizing that.  But if you want a cool, fun dude, you will take the time to work on some of his triggers.

Mufasa has been neutered. He is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. His adoption fee is $425.

Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not have a shelter. Our dogs are safely housed in foster homes all around the state.
