3 year old female BiBlack colored Sheltie

Katie is a very sweet girl, but can be described as a bit "stand off." It's best to wait until she wants attention, or she will run.  If you sit down, especially with food, she will be there. Her foster mom loves to sit and pet her. When she kisses her head, Katie wags her tail.  Katie loves to play with toys and other dogs. But, she cannot be trusted with stuffed toys or fleece tug ropes.  She will spread and eat them.  She loves Nyla bones and other hard to destroy toys. She would pair well with Polo if you are thinking about adopting two.

Katie is crate trained and learning the leash. She rides well in the car and only got sick one time. She is full of energy and would love an active home. She needs a little work on house training, but so smart, it won't take long. Did I say highly food motivated?  Yup. She knows "here" and "sit" for the basic commands. She will keep you on your toes if you do not pick up the years, if you know what I mean.

Katie has been spayed. She is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. Her adoption fee is $500.
