5/21/24 Meet Opie. He is a loving boy who just wants to be with you.  His favorite is getting pets. He likes food, but doesn't LIVE for food.  We are learning basic commands. He loves to run the yard and play with other dogs.  He walks well on leash and rides well in the car.  He is crate trained and learning "here" as a recall.  There are still so many more things to learn. He needs a family who can teach him.  I don't know if he likes children or cats. I know he loves chickens.  at his former place, he killed one.  I have seen him go after birds and squirrels, but hasn't caught anything. Yet.

Opie has been neutered. He is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. His adoption fee is $500.

Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not have a shelter. Our dogs are safely housed in foster homes all around the state.
