Sunshine is an adorable six-year-old, female, pure bred Sheltie. She is being rehomed because her very elderly owner is not able to care for her anymore. She is a very well-behaved and can be playful with trusted people. She is fairly calm, enjoys affection, is a bit overweight, and walks well on a leash. Sunshine hasn't had a lot of experience with stairs and is still building confidence. She's hesitant but will eventually tackle them. She has coexisted well with other dogs but has not been with cats or other animals nor with children. She has no medical issues though she can get carsick. She can be skittish with unknown people and would do well in a home that is a more predictable environment or with a family willing to be patient as she adapts.

Sunshine has been spayed. She is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. Her adoption fee is $400.
