Pepper is a special girl who had been neglected for along time. She's at least 12 years old, is about 16" tall, and weighs under 30 pounds. She came to us from a shelter. Her toenails were so long it made walking difficult, but we cut them back a little at a time, and she seems to have recovered. Since she is older, she spends a lot of time sleeping, but prefers to be in a room with you. Her cataracts keep her from seeing very well, and she has bad teeth, though we have done what we can for those. She is on medication for her arthritis pain. She gets along with other dogs, except when food is around, so she gets fed in her crate to keep the peace. Pepper will appreciate you opening your home to her during her golden years. Pepper is up-to-date on her shots, heartworm, and flea preventative, heartworm and fecal negative, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.00. (KnJ)
