Donkey is a 10-month old sheltie mix (one of the 5 puppies called the Shrek gang). We were told his mother was a Sheltie, but the father was unknown. Our best guess is lab. Although his coloring is very Sheltie-like, his hair is short (yet very soft), most similar to a Border Collie. His webbed feet and propensity to try to swim in the water bowl also point towards a lab heredity.

He loves to run, play with other dogs, go for walks, and most of all kiss his "people". He wants to please you, and almost smiles when you say "Good Boy"! He is the perfect dog for an active family that wants to take their dog hiking, camping, or swimming. We prefer that any children in the family be 12 or older as he is still a very exuberant puppy, and plays a little too roughly for smaller ones. He loves playing fun games like fetch or frisbee in the back yard or the park, although he only has about a 50% return rate at this point. He likes cats, will walk on a leash, is crate trained, and rides well in a car.

Donkey is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, heartworm and flea preventative, is heartworm and fecal negative, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $150.00. (CV)
