Lady is a five year old Collie / Golden mix. She makes your heart melt when you meet her. While very shy and reserved at first, once she warms up to you, you have a friend for life. Lady came from a home where she was only one of many, many dogs with few human visitors, so new people intimidate her a bit. Her foster mom has been working on getting her used to being more comfortable around strangers, and she's getting better about that as each day passes, though she's still a bit slower to warm up to men. Lady's greatest desire in life is to be the center of someone's world, and you will definitely be hers. While she gets along fabulously with other dogs, only homes with fewer than two dogs will be considered for her, with a preference being given to those with no other dogs. At this point, we don't think homes with young children would be very good for her, but once she learns to trust again, it is not out-of-the-question.

She is housebroken, crate trained, loves to ride in a car, and is getting better on a leash with each walk. Lady is spayed, is parasite free and on preventative, is up-to-date on her shots, and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $275.
