Bandit has settled in very well and it is obvious that he has been someone's well-loved housedog. He is nicely housetrained, has learned to use a doggie-door, gets along with cats and other dogs and has obviously had some training. He has a cute habit of "speaking" when you talk to him and seems to think that our bed is his chosen sleeping spot at night. (he does get down when we tell him.) I took him to handling class last week and my sighthound friends think that he definitely has a lot of sighthound in him. His movement and build are certainly sighthound-like, but his coloring -and mouth- are surely Sheltie. He is very likeable and seems especially taken with John. Bandit is 7 years old.
