My name is Serafina, many of you may think this is a dumb name, but I was named for the angel Seraphim. There are some questions about my background as I came from a shelter, though I can tell you I had many litters of puppies. My age is between 8-12 years, all those pups can take a toll of your body. I am told I am quite pretty and correct for a sheltie. More important is my winning personality and ways. I had to have some teeth pulled but I can eat hard food with the best of them. My height is 15 inches and I currently weigh 27 pounds. My voice has been altered, I have the quietest bark you have ever heard from a sheltie. I would like to get 2-5 pounds more of this baby fat off of me. My current diet is W/D and I should then be put on a lower residue diet. They say I am possessive about my bed, crate, and bowls ?? I just find my own things a much more sanitary way to live. I will not actually take the others heads off but they know of my displeasure. I actually do like other animals they just need to learn to stay out of my space. I am the queen bee, another word they use here is alpha. I walk well on lead and enjoy a bit of exercise ? I will actually stay with you without a lead if you are my provider. I have recently become housebroken ? which is no easy task for a kennel dog. Who says you can??t teach an old dog new tricks??? Did not really get what all the fuss was about but it seems to please my foster mother immensely. I was just recently spayed as they didn?t think I would go into heat due to my age. Well, I sure did fool them and had every male dog in the neighborhood at my beck and call. I would really like to find a home of my own, and remember I only want the best.
