Smarty is a very smart little beagle/hound/pointer mix we found in the garden on May 15th. He is named for the horse that won the Preakness and Derby. He is crate trained and playpen trained, when I say this I mean he will not even go in a very large playpen but waits to be let out. I believe him to be between 12-16 weeks this will be confirmed tomorrow as he will be neutered. He weighed 13# when we found him. On June 1st he is now 18#. He loves everyone, he is very irritating to the older dogs here. He has now learned the dog door and he is a like a bull in a china shop. This is a very good puppy for someone that can make him into a great dog as he already has many wonderful attributes. This dog is a keeper. His adoption fee is $150.00.
