Kelly is a gentleman; a beautiful, sweet, nine year old sheltie/collie mix in excellent health. He is 47 pounds and seems to have the face of the sheltie but the longer legs of a rough collie. He would be happier in a quiet home since he isn't highly active.
Sadly, Kelly's owner was killed by a car accident in Atlanta. They were well loved and cared for all thier lives. Kelly and another dog (a shaggy black and white boy of the same age) were left alone in the owner's house for 5-6 months with no human contact except for a relative who stopped by just once a day to let them out, and feed them McDonald's instead of a healthy food.
Despite the situation, Kelly is a sweet boy who loves his foster Mom, gets along well with her other dogs and likes to be part of the pack. He is very gentle and in excellent health.
