Thomas’s personality is very calm, sweet and loving; yet he really lives life to the fullest and will let you know when he is happy or sad. When you reach down to pet him, start getting his food or snacks ready, he starts wagging his tail and sometimes even starts talking to you . Same when you bring the leash out - he is SO happy! He LOVES walks even though he sometimes can’t go on as long of a walk as he would like to. But note: if you bring out a lease and don’t include him (with the other dogs) in the walk or car ride, he will almost cry from disappointment (it is heart breaking)! Thomas likes to gently give you his paw when you are talking to him, petting him.. or sometimes if you stop petting him (just as a reminder Ha). Just because he is calm and non assuming, he is no shrinking violet. Thomas is a family man and loves to be with his people and make sure they are safe. Thomas has been neutered, is up-to-date on shots and heartworm prevantive, and has recently been groomed. His adoption fee is $175.
Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not have a shelter. Our dogs are safely housed in foster homes all around the state. Please note, Sheltie Rescue of GA, Inc. does not do out-of-state adoptions.
