Callahan, “Inspector Harry” is not just a good dog, he is a great dog!  While he may not be everyone’s cup of tea, because he is oversized, he is very devoted and lots of fun.  Callahan should go to obedience class to learn how to deal with other dogs.  Even though he isn’t a shy boy, his socialization skills still need a little work.  He is crate-trained, housebroken and used to a dog-door.  He loves men and children.  Callahan will do nothing for you unless he respects you, so only experienced dog-people need apply.   

Callahan acts like 8-months, not 8-years, and please don’t be put-off by a number.  He had always been an only dog, so he would certainly not mind that situation again.  He is good with some other dogs, but this should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 

Callahan loves to ride in the car and is also decent on-lead, but will pull, if allowed.  A fenced yard would be nice for this boy, but is not required, as long as he will be leash-walked regularly.

Callahan has been neutered. He is up-to-date on shots and heartworm preventive, and has recently been groomed. His adoption fee is $275
