Sammie’s Bio

Sammie is a young 11 year old who is crate-trained, housebroken and used to a dog-door.  He is very intense and demands a lot of attention, so be prepared for a busy boy.  He can be food aggressive with other dogs, so it is best that he be fed in his crate.

Sammie should probably be an only dog, but he loves cats.  Young children would probably be irritants to him, but older children would be fine.  If there is another dog in your home, it should be a really sweet and loving female.  He tries to herd you around but has no teeth, so the best he can do is gum you.  Sammie insists on going everywhere you go... rarely will he let his people out of sight.

Sammie doesn’t love riding in the car.  However, that may change when he realizes going does not mean to the vet or being dropped off somewhere.  He walks a little haphazardly on-lead, until he’s figured out he is not going to the car or crate.

Sammie will need a special soft diet because of his lack of teeth.   His vision is not the greatest on his left side, though this requires nothing more special than lubricating drops from pharmacy.

Sammie is a lot of company, and has lots of living and loving yet to do.  He is one handsome little man, who has a ton of spunk!!

His adoption fee is $250.
